Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the FormLens iOS application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Your use of the App is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of service

FormLens is an iOS app that analyzes movement and lifting or running technique from video you record or select, and helps you log workouts and follow training plans.

The video analysis runs on your device. The App extracts body keypoints (joint positions) from your video on your phone and sends only those keypoints, the measurements derived from them, and the exercise type to our servers, where an AI model turns the numbers into a score and coaching text. Your videos and photos are never uploaded. The Privacy Policy (https://formlensapp.com/privacy) describes exactly what is and is not collected.

User accounts

Some features require signing in (Sign in with Apple or email). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You can delete your account and your server-stored data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account.

Your content and data

Everything you create with the App is yours: your videos, photos, workout logs, notes and results. Your videos and photos stay on your device — we never receive them, so we ask for no licence over them.

For the data that does reach us (body keypoints and derived measurements, your saved analysis history, account and optional profile details), you give us permission to process it only to provide the App’s features to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.

You agree not to use the App in a way that is illegal, harmful, or that violates the rights of others — including filming other people without their permission.

Subscriptions and payments

• The Apple App Store handles subscription processing; we never see your payment details
• Charges are applied to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
• Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Management and cancellation occur through your App Store account settings
• Refunds follow Apple's established policies and are requested from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com)

Not medical or professional advice

FormLens is a training aid, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any injury or medical condition, and its scores and coaching are not a substitute for a qualified coach, physiotherapist, or doctor. Measurements are estimates from a single camera and can be wrong. Train within your limits, and stop and seek professional advice if you feel pain.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App and its AI-generated feedback are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantee that the analysis is accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, FormLens is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from use of the App, including injury sustained while training. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.

Termination

You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or where required by law.

Changes to terms

These Terms may be updated as the product changes; the date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
