What's new in FormLens

Every App Store update since version 1.2.22, newest first. Update the app from the App Store to get the latest.

  1. v1.2.28Latest

Charts you can read — and hear

    • Every analysis is saved to History the moment it finishes — no Save tap, nothing lost if you leave early
    • Form Score trend now shows the zones behind the line, so a 62 and a 78 read as different places, not just different numbers
    • Running, bench and overhead press metrics moved onto range gauges — where you sit inside the typical band, not a ring that fills up
    • Exercise progress is a line again: heaviest set, 1RM, volume and reps on a scale that fits your numbers
    • Monthly Report, Muscle Balance and the body page now share one chart language — same bars, same colours, same meaning
    • Colour means a verdict everywhere; neutral numbers stay neutral, and “0%” no longer wears an arrow
    • Charts speak: VoiceOver reads every value, every band and every trend, and large-text sizes get their own layouts
  2. v1.2.27

    Muscle Balance and Your Week

    • Muscle Balance radar — your training week as a shape: this period vs last, a number at every corner, and a balance score
    • Your Week — workouts, records and form checks from the last 7 days in one place, with honest next steps
    • Quick Start and smarter templates on the Workouts tab
    • Set your bar weight per exercise — plate math and warm-up ramps finally match your gym
    • Charts now answer “compared to what?” — last period shown as a quiet outline
    • Recovery leads with a verdict, not just a number
    • Your starter plan shows the actual week before you commit
  3. v1.2.26

A two-tap keypad and an honest record book

    • A new in-workout keypad — enter a set in two taps, step weights in your unit, see plates per side, and your next set pre-fills from last session
    • An honest record book — warm-ups and drop sets no longer count toward PRs or estimated 1RM; existing records recalculated
    • Charts redrawn — clearer colors, smooth reveals, and a plain-language verdict under every graph
    • Rate any AI coaching with a thumbs up or down — your feedback shapes the coach
    • Tap the home widget to start today's workout, and “Start This Plan” now lands you in Day 1
    • Hevy and Strong imports keep your exercise names, notes and set types intact
    • Every weight shows in your chosen unit, sleep counts toward the morning you wake up, and the download is smaller
  4. v1.2.25

Your first week, ready on day one

    • Your first week, ready on day one — setup now builds you a starter plan, including a new home & bodyweight program
    • Streaks now count weeks, not days — rest days never break your momentum
    • Smarter reminders: gentle, well-timed nudges that only appear when they're actually useful
    • Your trial reminder now recaps what you achieved before you decide
    • Deadlift rep counting got sharper — setup and re-grips no longer count as reps
    • Every template exercise now shows the right demo video
    • Plus fixes across notifications, streak widgets and the watch app
  5. v1.2.24

    Train in kg or lbs

    • Train in kg or lbs — pick your unit and the whole app follows, from the plate calculator to your Apple Watch
    • Manage or cancel your subscription right in the app
    • Analyze videos you already have, from any app — rotated clips now analyze correctly
    • Honest running analysis: no more phantom metrics when no steps are detected
    • Workout reminders now show while the app is open
    • Your profile now survives signing out and back in
    • Dozens of fixes across onboarding, the paywall and the watch app
  6. v1.2.23

    Share your workout

    • Share your workout: a clean card with your volume, sets and PRs — plus what your total equals in the real world (“that's like lifting a yacht”)
    • Smarter bar hints: plate math and the warm-up ramp now appear only on barbell lifts
    • Delete your account and all your data any time, right from Settings
    • Fixes and cleanup under the hood — smaller, faster app
  7. v1.2.22

Apple Watch, smart loading and five new languages

    • Smart weight suggestions: hit your reps and recover well — we tell you what to load next
    • Warm-up ramp: one tap builds your warm-up sets to today's working weight
    • Plate calculator: see exactly what goes on each side of the bar
    • Guided workouts on Apple Watch: log set → rest → next, hands-free with the crown
    • Rest timer on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island — with a ping when it ends
    • Now in German, Spanish, Turkish, French & Portuguese
    • Supersets, backdated workouts, minimize-and-browse, and smarter rep detection
